Speech at Alabama Tea Party

On April 15, 2009 millions of citizens across this land gathered in cities to announce opposition to big government and high taxes in events called Tea Party Rallies. This writer was privileged to appear as the keynote speaker for the Alabama Tea Party at the Statehouse in Montgomery, Alabama.
Listed below will be the speech given to begin the Alabama Tea Party by John Killian. The first video begins with a rendition of America the Beautiful and then commences with the Killian speech. The speech concludes one minute into the second video. The speech is eight minutes long--seven minutes in the Tea Party #2 and the first minute in Tea Party #3.

Way to go John. It's good to have you back. I know all about the doldrums.

Brother John, you TOTALLY NAILED IT in your remarkable speech in Montgomery.  You reminded me of Martin Luther when he stood before Archbishop Eck in Worms and said, "Hier stehe Ich.  Ich kann nicht anders.  Gott hilfe mir.  Amen."   (Here I stand !!)  I loved your line  in your 2nd remedial point: "Get your hand out of the trough.  Send that pig to the Slaughterhouse !!"  Equally great was your Lord Cornwallis (1780) story; and I agree with you that as some Loyalists turned and went back to the Red-coats, THEY WERE HANGED!! and that we too should hang em. (The politicians) with our vote !!!
