As of today, HR 1207 has 222 co-sponsors, enough to pass the House of Representatives. The establishment has long fought to keep the operations of the Federal Reserve System under wraps, as the Fed determines money supply and interest rates. Yet, this private corporation has virtually no accountability. Alabama Congressman Bobby Bright has signed on as a co-sponsor, leaving Congressmen Parker Griffith of Huntsville and Artur Davis of Birmingham as the only Alabama Congressmen not to co-sponsor HR 1207. Folks, this bill ought to be a no-brainer. Why would anyone object to clearing the air on the most powerful body in this nation?

Bro. John, Do you think Congress would let you and me have a deal like the Fed. by borrowing money from us that we don't have to begin with and pay us interest to boot? What a sweetheart deal!
I believe our leaders in Washington are dumb as dirt.

On the one hand, this is certainly good news. The huge backing that Dr. Paul has obtained is rather curious. Being naturally suspicious, I have to wonder what the basis of this support really is. Why, after so many decades, is this happening?
From a Biblical standpoint, prophecy is not on the side of sound, honest currency--one reason I'm watching the Liberty Dollar case very closely. If something is happening that works against the Federal Reserve, there may be a larger reason for it, one that is working to tie us into an even larger regional--or even global--currency.
Of course, the Federal Reserve is already significantly intertwined with the World Bank and the IMF, those pet projects of the socialist pedophile John Maynard Keynes and communist traiter Harry Dexter White. But it's hard to believe that this current movement against the Fed doesn't have some deeper, more sinister motivation.
As is so often the case, I would love to be wrong. But we already know where this is ultimately heading--a global economic system headed by the man of sin soon to be revealed. It is a safe bet that whatever is occurring now is just a stepping stone in that direction.
